Mom’s Need Adventure Too” is back! MNAT is a quarterly adventure meetup encouraging women to tap into their adventurous side. You can’t fill your families adventure cup if you never stop to fill yours.

We're Going Camping and We Have a New Location!

We’re excited to announce that our upcoming family campout will take place at Graham Farm & Nature Center! This beautiful 491-acre educational farm is nestled in the pristine Paint Rock Valley of Jackson County and serves as an educational outreach site for the Alabama Cooperative Extension System.

In addition to our new location, we’re thrilled to welcome back author, birder, and filmmaker Dudley Edmondson! Mr. Edmondson will be joining BKA for this adventure, sharing his passion and knowledge of birds, bugs, flowers, and more. His presence continues to inspire and represent Black excellence in the outdoors.

Join us for a family camping experience filled with outdoor education, community, and fun!

To make this campout and other family adventures possible, a donation of $30 per family is required to participate. Your support helps us create meaningful outdoor experiences that foster growth, connection, and adventure for Black families. We appreciate your contribution and can't wait to share this experience with you!
